Miranda began dancing at the age of 3 under the instruction of Cathy Stevens where she continued to take classes in Tap, Ballet & Modern until the age of 18.  After taking a break to gain her degree in Drama & Psychology she returned to dance embarking on her ISTD teacher training through Bristol College of Dancing.  On achieving her full qualifications in all genres she took over as Principal at Bristol College of Dancing, a role she continues today.  She continued her advanced teacher training through the ISTD gaining Licentiate status in Modern, Tap and Imperial Ballet and achieving Approved Tutor Status allowing her to deliver all units of the DDE.  She continues to deliver all units at the college in Bristol and Cardiff alongside providing training as a distance learning tutor for candidates across the country.  In addition to her tutoring commitments she continues to teach all levels at her own school Dance Inspirations in Bristol, as well as teaching for other established schools and providing one to one sessions for students and teachers.  She has a commitment to maintaining her level of knowledge and attends numerous courses both regionally and in London. Miranda is fortunate to have a very supportive and understanding husband who is very good at sharing the responsibility their daughter!
